What changed in the Pinpasta extension for Chrome and Firefox, newest first.
3.2Download a board as a PDFPRO
- Download PDF sits next to Download ZIP after you extract a board. It also works on pins you pick in selection mode.
- Choose one image per page or a 2×3 contact sheet, on A4 or US Letter. "Smaller file" keeps the PDF light enough to email.
- The same full-resolution originals as the ZIP, in board order, and every image links back to its pin. JPEGs go in without recompression.
- Switching between ZIP and PDF reuses the images you already downloaded.
3.0Original-resolution downloads and a new popup
- Downloads now fetch Pinterest's original, full-resolution images instead of resized previews. Copy to Figma places them too.
- ZIPs come as a folder named after the board, with files named by position and pin title, plus a report of every pin and anything that failed.
- Selection mode: pick individual pins on the page, then download them or send them to Figma.
- A redesigned popup with one screen per step: a progress tracker with ETA, Cancel at any point, and resume if a download is cut short.
- Boards with 1,000+ pins download without running out of memory.
2.6Downloads that survive interruptions
- Downloaded images are kept in your browser, so an interrupted download picks up where it stopped instead of starting over.
- The popup shows the current stage, an ETA, and a countdown when Pinterest asks Pinpasta to slow down.
- Close the popup mid-download and reopen it: it reconnects to the running download.
