Why would you need to download Pinterest photos?

Downloading Pinterest Images on Your Desktop

The Good Old Right-Click Method

Open Pinterest and find the image you love.
Click on it to see the full size.
Right-click on the image and select "Save image as..."
Choose where you want to save it. Done!

Pros: Super easy, no extra tools.

Cons: Only works for one image at a time. Can be a bit slow if you have many images. And you often get the 736px preview, not the full-size original.

Get the Original, Full-Resolution Image

Pinterest serves each image in several sizes, and the pin page usually shows a preview that is 736 pixels wide. The original upload is kept in a folder called originals. Here is how to grab it:

Open the pin, right-click the image and choose "Open image in new tab".
Look at the address. It will look like i.pinimg.com/736x/ab/cd/ef/abcdef.jpg.
Replace the size folder (736x, 564x or 236x) with originals and press Enter.
You now have the full-size image. Right-click and "Save image as".

Some older pins no longer have an original. In that case the largest size still listed is the best you can get.

Pros: Full resolution, no tools needed.

Using Browser Extensions

Install an image downloader extension from the Chrome Web Store or Mozilla Add-ons.
Go to the Pinterest board with all your images.
